Who needs them? 

This is a question that is asked many times, the simple answer is anyone that has either none or very limited experience with HTML, scripting or web design.

Content Management Systems can be totally flexible, fast and very easy to update. While suited to all web applications, they are particularly useful for portals or community web sites where the content needs to be changed or updated on a regular basis.

Through extensive trials we mainly use Joomla for most of our CMS projects, The reason for this is simple. It is a well supported open source php script that is constantly being developed and has been since its introduction. It has an enormous number of addons to choose from, including the following:

This list is by no means exhaustive, but is intended to give you some idea as to what can be done with your web site.
